Wedding Info

I just adore weddings…..

I love everything about them.

The special details, the raw emotions, the beautiful candidness, the stylish fashions, the unique locations and the wonderful people I meet.

As your special day unfolds there will be a mix of tears, laughter, nerves and most of all happiness. As your photographer my role is to capture all of this in a very natural, fun and artistic way.

I am there to document your day, not just take great photographs.

To get the best results, it’s important that you are totally comfortable with your photographer and relaxed in front of the camera.

I encourage people to forget about the camera, take in the moments, stay connected to each other and don’t let the distractions take those moments away from you both, enjoy every minute as it really does fly and most of all have fun!

There’s nothing I love more than being able to provide a couple with a photography story of their wedding day and knowing that they will love those photos and share them with family and friends.

I look forward to working with you to capture your wedding day and all the special moments.

Things you want to ask….

What is your pricing?

Wedding packages start at $2200, contact us to discuss your day and to work out what package best suits you & your budget.

Do you work with a 2nd photographer and why?

Yes! The advantage of having two professional photographers is a no brainer….more images, more candids, time efficient, someone for me to chat to over dinner & double the laughs.

How far will you travel?

We travel the world. A travel fee applies for outside Sydney metro. For destination weddings/events its best to give us a call to discuss.

Do you edit all of the photographs?
Yes! In a very natural way.

How long does it take before we receive our images, products or albums?

A sneak peek is sent to you within a week and your USB of images within 4 weeks, most of the time sooner depending on work load and time of the year.

Albums and products can take up to six weeks depending on the time of year, product and approval times.

Can we order extra prints + enlargements?

Yes, just email the file numbers and sizes through and it will be ready within two weeks.

Do you offer engagement sessions?

Yes we do and its a perfect way to get to know one another and relax in front of the camera.

How would you describe your style?

Shannon Elise Photography’s style is very relaxed, natural and easy.

It’s all about enjoying the day and letting the good times roll so that you don’t even know your being photographed. There will be times where direction and structure is needed but even that is done in a very laid back & fun way.

Can we provide a shoot list or must have images?

Yes, love that idea. You can even send your inspiration images through and they can be kept on file for the day.

THE BORING STUFF….

Do you have insurance?

Yes and a certificate of insurance can be emailed to your venue.

You don’t have to worry about a thing!

What kind of equipment do you use?

I am a Canon girl even though my first SLR was a Nikon!

I have the latest equipment, plenty of back up cameras and other bits and pieces.

How can we secure the date and make a booking?

People book a year or more in advance so to avoid disappointment and to cross another job off your list its best to book & secure your date as soon as possible. This is best done by using the contact form, from there we will be in touch to get the ball rolling.

Do I need to pay a deposit & how much?

Once your ready to book a $500 deposit is required to secure the date and photographers.

When do I need to pay the balance?

The balance needs to be paid in full before the wedding day, usually one week before. You may prefer to make instalments which can be arranged with reminders.

Do I need to provide meals for both photographers?

Yes that would be lovely as its a long day for the photographers and we don’t usually get a break until your eating at the reception and by that time we are starving!
The venue usually offers a discounted rate for contractors.
